Located admits the hustle bustle of the busy city life lies 14 Sauce Story – restaurant cafe by the day & lounge by the night. The main design challenged faced here was to create an ambiance, which will be well blended & balanced by three different functions, namely café, restaurant & a lounge.
The surrounding context of the busy site, bought about the base concept for 14 Sauce Story. One could expect a place to pause, relax & rejuvenate. Thus the outside café section which helps draw the customers is intentionally made to give a soft and serene feel to the place. Extensive use of white & some blue shades are used to help one enjoy the ambiance in a busy set up.
As one proceeds inwards the use of diming lights and light coloured wooden planks, gives the space a perfect sense of play and fun. One can enjoy a nice evening meal or have a drink or two to loosen up and dance on favorite numbers.
Additional sense of drama is added to the space by highlighting the bar area and creating semi private couch seating sections.
In order to maintain the calmer outside section, both the sections are divide by soundproof glass doors, which at the same time keeps you visually well connected. In all a muti-functional space which allows one to enjoy the experience a café, restaurant & lounge.
