This informal restro bar is located around a busy business hub, loaded with office space, with a lot of young and mid age crowd, who were a major part of the target audiences. This space was open during the day also promoting it as an all day dine & drinks cafe. Thus being important to create an ambiance, which gave you a sense of relaxation and freshness, helping one to unwind or just causally catching up for dinner, snacks & drinks. The planning and design needed to reflects the look of a causal, informal café bar. Thus we introduced elements & materials, which would compliment the concept. Some elements being such as the hanging lights on the pergola, i.e., near the performance area, freestanding column covered with pinewood & greens, & earthy flooring & wood adding the warmth to the place. As a design element we introduced custom-made arch light, to compliment the design language of the pergula. This enhanced the only available double height space and further helped in taking the attention away from the AC ducts running across this space. To give it a slightly rustic feel, we decided to expose the ceiling wires, ducts, structural I sections, etc and gave it a stark contrast of black colour ceiling, while the rest of the space enjoys the earthy tone of beige, brown & green. The space planning is done in such a way that it open ups the circulation space with increase in no. of seating by a much greater extent to what was there previous at this place. Also we have created a small performances stage set up space, where one can enjoy live performances from various upcoming artists. This space also doubles up as a dance floor when required.
