The brief of the project was to create a space, which is fairly contemporary and modern. One can see extensive use of glass as decorative and cladding material on wardrobes, tv unit, etc. Specially designed glass wall is introduced to cover the entry of the power bathroom from the living area. Overall pallet of the central living area is kept on the tones of white, with splashes of colour of break the monotony.
A huge French window was intentionally created which overlooks the outside greens, making the living area feel much more connected to the outside and at the same time giving a character of its own. Shamiyanay seating is introduced at the foot of the window, to enhance the above experience. Also this adds an ethnic touch to the space. The two existing columns near the dinning area, were used as support system for the custom made marble dinning table. We used these existing structural columns to add advantageous value to the design, rather than treating them as default columns seen in the flow of spaces.
Each room has been given its own identity with a bright splash of colour, but at the same time maintaining the overall concept and the look and feel of the house. An additional ethnic touch is seen in the master bedroom with the style of swing chosen.
