Though surrounded by high rises and large clusters of residential towers, this apartment manages to maintain its breathtaking 360-degree view of Mumbai.
Being a renovation and refurbishment project, the main challenge faced here was to play with the existing fabric of the site, yet at the same time to give a completely new face to the space blending well with today’s modern interior style.
Here one can see a well-balanced blend of vintage style architecture with modern style interiors. The huge French windows replace most of the exteriors walls of the house, which further is complimented with step out balconies. The huge windows act like frames through which one can see the never-ending skyline of Mumbai city without any building obstructing its view. Besides bringing in ample of sunlight and great cross ventilation in all areas of the house, its also keeps one connected to the outside and helps in blurring the lines between inside outside.
On the other hand the inside of the house is kept calmer with monochrome colour palette adding splashes of colour. The spaces are intentionally designed to give you a warm and cozy feel with just the right amount of furniture and artifacts.
